Pricing

A flat fee and a small share. Not a third of everything.

Traditional estate sale companies keep 30 to 40 percent because they send a crew to run your sale. We give you the software to run it yourself — so you pay a flat fee to set up, then a small percentage of what actually sells.

$99 to set up your sale
7% of what sells

The setup fee covers building your sale — Scout pricing, your public page, QR tags, checkout. After that, 7% of each sale, whether the buyer pays by card or cash. Card payments go directly to your bank.

Standard Stripe card-processing fees apply on card transactions. Your exact terms are shown and confirmed before you publish a sale.

Common fee questions

What does the $99 setup fee cover?
Getting your sale built and live: Scout's AI pricing and descriptions for your items, your public sale page, printable QR tags, and the checkout system for sale day. It's a one-time fee per sale, not a subscription.
Is there any monthly cost?
No. There's no monthly or recurring charge. You pay the one-time setup fee to launch a sale, and 7% applies only to items that actually sell.
Do I pay the 7% on cash sales too?
The 7% applies to sales recorded through the platform regardless of how the buyer pays, so your records and totals stay accurate. You'll see exactly how cash sales are handled when you set up your sale.
What are the card-processing fees?
Card payments run through Stripe, which charges its standard processing rate on each card transaction — the same rate any business pays to accept cards. That's separate from our fee and goes to Stripe, not us.
When and how do I get my money?
Card payments go directly to the bank account you connect during setup — we never hold your funds. Cash you collect in person is yours immediately; you just record it in the app.
